The Danish king presented 'The King's Watch' to the guard, who was selected by the Guard Company as the best of the service period for demonstrating good military service and comradeship. The presentation of the watch, which began in 1970, was renamed 'The Queen's Clock' after the change of throne in 1972, and then 'The King's Clock' after the change of throne in 2024.
