Beachgoers are being warned about potential toxic waters as debris runoff from the fires, followed by atmospheric rivers of rain, have made their way into the oceans surrounding Los Angeles. More than 45 Pacific Palisades residents who were affected by Januaryâs deadly brush fire filed a lawsuit against the City of Los Angeles and Los Angeles Department of Water and Power over the disaster, accusing the city and department of having a failed water supply system.
