The OECD praised the 'impressive' economic recovery of Chile after the pandemic, but warned that Covid-19 'has reversed the falls in terms of poverty and inequality'. In the Economic Study of Chile, the organization made up of the most developed economies in the world, explained that 'Chile's solid institutions and prudent management of public finances allowed for a strong fiscal response to the pandemic and a vigorous recovery'.
