According to the Russian Defence Ministry, seventeen servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (Ukrainian Armed Forces and the National Guard) voluntarily laid down their arms on the territory of the self- proclaimed Luhansk People's Republic. All of them were said to be delivered to a location in one of the LPR units, where the needy were provided with the necessary medical assistance. Hot meals were organized for Ukrainian servicemen, who were given the opportunity to take a shower, change into clean clothes and call close relatives.
