The main objective of Grande-Marlaska's visit to Colombia is the strengthening of cooperation in the fight against crime, especially drug trafficking and organized crime. During the visit, he will also discuss migration policy issues, as well as cooperation between the European Union and Latin American countries, with an eye toward the Spanish presidency of the European Union in the second half of 2023.
