The Centre for COVID-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) on 31 May 2021 dismissed a resolution of the Bangkok city administration and ordered to delay the reopening of five types of businesses in the capital due to a continued rise in COVID-19 infections. The five types of businesses that the Bangkok city resolution was to allow to resume on 01 June included entertainment venues, gyms, boxing stadiums, as well as massage parlors, spa, and beauty salons.
