The high number of deaths and infections due to the coronavirus pandemic led the Mayor of Bogota to start an educational campaign in a district that included the use of tombstones to raise awareness of the danger of COVID-19. The initiative called 'the covid-19 kills, don't risk your life' based its strategy on including the use of black tombstones on which the names of more than 800 people in the district of Bosa who died with COVID-19 are written.
