epa06958402 Volkswagen cars are parked nearby the terminal and tower of the BER airport in Schoenefeld near Berlin, Germany, 19 August 2018. Several hundred brand-new Volkswagen cars park at the future Berlin airport BER. According to media reports VW has leased around 8,000 parking spaces in three parking garages and on three open spaces at the BER terminal. The reason for this is the lack of approvals for new cars, if in September a new exhaust gas test procedure applies. Therefore, VW gets into trouble finding parking space.
