Feeding is carried by hunters and foresters when weather conditions prevent animals from getting natural food. According to estimates by RDSF, in the forests of Podkarpacie, among others over 400 bison, 200 bears, 600 wolves and 10 thousand beavers. In the forests of south-eastern Poland, there is also 44 thousand deer, 15 thousand deer, 10 thousand wild boars and almost 400 elk.
