Descriere: epa09123826 Spanish musician Miguel Huertas performs fragments of what is considered the first modern 'zarzuela', 'La obra de los locos' (literally 'The madmen's work') (1815), by composer Felix Maximo Lopez, at the Prado Museum in Madrid, central Spain, 09 April 2021, in a concert organized by the museum that is being broadcast live to mark the bicentennial of the composer's death. A 'zarzuela' is a kind of Spanish comic folk opera. The piano that Huertas plays dates from 1810 and is identical to the one that appears in the painting (C) by artist Vicente Lopez that portrays Felix Maximo Lopez who, in addition to being a composer, was the first organist of the Royal Chapel. The sheet music of 'La obra de los locos', also known as 'El Disparate' (literally 'The nonsense'), appears in the lower left corner of the painting. EPA/Juan Carlos Hidalgo
