Descriere: epa06447169 Romanian designated Prime Minister Viorica Dancila exits the Social Democracy Party (PSD) headquarters, in Bucharest, Romania, 16 January 2018 (issued 17 January 2018). Romanian Prime Minister Mihai Tudose resigned on 15 January 2018 after the leftist ruling party PSD decided to withdraw his political support after performing only six months. Social Democracy Party proposed Viorica Dancila, member of the European Parliament (Group of the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats), as the new Prime Minister, and Romania's President Klaus Iohannis nominated her on 17 January 2018 to form a new cabinet. After all cabinet members of the new government will be approved by the parliament special commissions, Dancila and her team shall be validated by the parliament assembly. PSD has super-majority in both parliament chambers. EPA/GEORGE CALIN
