The ship, which arrived in Klaipeda a decade ago, plays a vital role in ensuring energy independence for both the country and the region. The Independence, which has previously sailed under Singaporeâs flag, has now been removed from that countryâs registry and included in Lithuaniaâs Register of Seagoing Ships.
